Women's ministries

Cindy was born in Marion Illinois and was raised in several states as her father was transferred numerous times while working for the Postal Inspection Service. She completed her nursing education while attending the University of Missouri, Columbia, where she also met her husband Wally Feutz. After three years of marriage and living in Grand Island Nebraska, they moved to Mexico Missouri as Wally wanted to farm his family farms. They have three children with Torri living in Phoenix AZ, Betsy living in St. Louis MO. and Travis living in Mexico Mo. Additionally, they are blessed with five grandchildren.

Cindy retired from her 40-year nursing career as a Clinical Nurse Specialist, Cardiology, in 2016 from University Hospital and Clinics, Columbia Mo.  She currently serves as the coordinator of Women’s Ministries. Programs within Women’s Ministries include First place 4 Health (bible study), Yoga, Sisters in Faith (devotional group and arm of mission work within the church), educational scholarships for women and children, and the annual Bethlehem Store. She has supported and coordinated two women’s conferences held at PGUMC. Cindy is passionate about serving God’s people. She strongly supports the mission of PGUMC “to know Jesus Christ and make Him known”. She is excited about moving out of her zone of comfort and meeting God’s people where they work and live, developing relationships with them. Her goal is for them to see the love of Jesus Christ through her love for them. The Pleasant Grove family is a constant support for the activities within Women’s Ministries and she hopes to embrace continued expansion of programs. Her motto when faced with uncertainties is to “walk in faith”. Together with the community and the church, Women’s Ministries strive to grow deeper in our relationship with Jesus.
