kids for jesus (kfj)

Stephanie was raised just outside of Auxvasse, where she fell in love with this rural Callaway County community. She and her brothers were blessed with a childhood that was full of love and fun which is what she hopes for the future generations growing up in this community.  After graduating from North Callaway High School and receiving her bachelor’s degree from Westminster College, she finally started dating and eventually married Ian Fohey, the guy that had been her secret crush for most of her teenage years.

Stephanie and Ian live outside of Hatton near their hog farm for which Ian owns/operates and Stephanie works as a Sales Center and Operations Manager for a retail company.  They have three kids, Reaghyn, Lyndon and Carter.  These three little people are Stephanie’s passion.  She spends most of her spare time going to the kids’ extracurricular activities and hanging out with her family.  She also loves visiting new places with friends and family.

Stephanie is currently the Director of our Kids for Jesus (KFJ) program, after teaching KFJ for the previous five years. The KFJ program allows children a time and place for worship and learning through music and dancing, sermons on their level, crafts, and games.   The goal is to teach the children of the love that God has for each one of them; to know they are always loved no matter their circumstances.  We hope that these children become disciples of God’s word, lending to a more accepting generation full of love and fun for the future of our community.
